Privacy policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

We're MTE Made, a web design and digital systems studio based in Calgary, Alberta. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect on mtebase.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you fill in the application form:

• Your name and business name
• Your website or Instagram link
• Your email and phone number
• What you want help with, and how you'd like us to contact you

Automatically, when you visit:

• Which ad or link brought you here (for example, UTM tags and Facebook click IDs in the web address)
• The page you were on and the time you sent the form
• Basic device and browser information
• Cookies set by the Meta Pixel (see below)

Why we collect it

• To review your application and get back to you
• To follow up about working together, if you want to
• To understand which of our ads are working, so we spend less on ones that aren't

We don't sell your information. Ever.

Meta Pixel and ads

We run ads on Facebook and Instagram. This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms. It tells Meta when someone visits the site, sends the form, or clicks to book a call or message us. Meta uses cookies to do this, and may use the information to measure and show ads, as described in Meta's privacy policy.

In the future, we may also send this same event information to Meta directly from our server (called the Conversions API). Where we do, any contact details are scrambled (hashed) before they're sent.

You can control ads you see in your Facebook ad preferences, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Where your information is stored

Form submissions are stored securely with Supabase, a database provider. The website is hosted by Hostinger, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These providers may store or process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Only we have access to your form details.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to talk with you about your project, or as long as we work together. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices and rights

Under Canadian privacy law, you can:

• Ask what information we have about you
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it
• Withdraw your consent to being contacted

Just email us and we'll take care of it.

Text messages

If you text us through the website or tick “text me updates” on the application, we use your mobile number only to reply to you about your enquiry or application. Texts are sent through Twilio, our messaging provider. We don’t send marketing texts, and we never sell or share your number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help.

Age requirement

This site is for business owners. By sending an application, you confirm you're 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
